Waxing Moon Designs Stitching Mends the Soul Finish

Finally!

A finish.  Two days beyond goal of wanting it done by the end of last weekend.

Had half of the lace along the bottom done, realized I was off one row.  Took it all out.

Then realized the word Soul was off by two rows.  Took that all out and restitched it.

Finally, finally...a finish.

I do like what the quote states.  I've found stitching really does mend the soul in ways talking cannot.  Quiet time in the evening, with my feet up, Leah on my lap keeping me warm, working the needle in and out of the fabric...talking to the Lord, thanking Him for the good things in my life.  Yup, stitching does mend the soul.

Will not be stitching this one again.  Chart is available if someone would like to stitch this one.  Prefer USA mailing address only.  Use contact form on the side bar of my blog.  Chart  for my last finish Waxing Moon Designs - The Best Things - is available as well.  Again, USA mailing address, use contact form on side bar of my blog.  Don't want anything for chart(s) or postage.

Regarding what's up next to work on...will rest my needle for a bit and decide later on in the week.  Would like to do something wintry or Christmas themed.  I have several designs kitted up.

I would like to thank those of you that have sent lovely Thanksgiving cards in the mail and/or emailed me wishing me and Leah a blessed Thanksgiving - so very kind, so very sweet of you.  I will be sharing Thanksgiving Dinner with my mom and younger sister this year.

Thanksgiving is my favorite of all the holidays.

Giving thanks...in ALL things.  FOR all things.

God is a good God.

In other news...

Leah had her one year check up since adopting her from the animal shelter.  Was told, "she looks healthy, happy and contended."  Tests done came back good, no bugs, parasites or worms.  She's gained a few pounds during the past year.  She was a perfect kitty during her vet visit.  Charmed her way into the hearts of the those at the vet's office.  She got kitty pets and lovin's from all.  She was a little subdued last night due to having gotten her shots, but she's been spunky and back to her old self today.  She's a keeper.  Love her bunches.

For a smile...

It's been a very windy, cold day here today.  Caught Leah in the front window watching the leaves blowing about on the front porch and falling from the nearby trees.
